University Diagnostic Institute (UDI) is a radiologist-owned and operated imaging facility.  We are have three convenient locations: Longwood, Orlando, and Winter Park.  We offer a full range of diagnostic imaging services; including digital mammography and baseline MRI’s for young athletes.

	Digital Mammography At UDI, we offer Digital Mammography, which is the most technologically advanced technique used to image breast tissue. This system is similar to film-screen mammography, except that the image is recorded and stored in a computer. The images can then be enlarged or highlighted. Our facility is proud to offer Digital Mammography, which ensures that the patient receives lower radiation dosage(s), as well as offer higher sensitivity to abnormalities and increased image quality. 	Ultrasound UDI offers state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment that provides your physician the most accurate diagnosis. Ultrasound, also called sonography, uses sound waves to produce high quality images of the soft tissues of the body. 	Bone Density Scan (DEXA) Dexa (Dual Energy X-ray Absorpitometry) is the most commonly used test for measuring bone mineral density. It is one of the most accurate ways to diagnosis Osteopenia or Osteoporosis.
